Return from NACHC CHI 2026

I'm one day back from NACHC CHI and here's what I learned:

CHCs expect to lose 5-30% of their Medicaid patients because of H.R.1

And 99% of redetermination "solutions" won't help. Trust me, they all visited Pointcare's booth to learn why we manage 2.4M+ Medicaid lives monthly.

My recommendation to them was to work on a different use case, their tech is good, they are good people with strong enthusiasm but their AI Agents cannot solve this problem. If you believe redetermination can be solved with only an "AI" text reminder or an AI phone agent, you're mistaken. If it was THAT SIMPLE Pointcare wouldn't be in business because there would be no problem to solve. 

It's about Coverage Intelligence™ and predictive modeling, not AI agents. Without context and data, agents hit a wall. Pointcare has over 1B parameters informing our model, growing by tens of millions every month.

Over the past 3 years, clinics using Pointcare have grown Medicaid patients on average by +8.4% and on the median by +6.6%.  Health centers without Pointcare over the same period have lost an average -1.7% Medicaid patients and -4.4% on the median.

The most expensive plan is to go with the cheapest option because it will be ineffective and you're paying for a lackluster service. The least expensive option is to pay for Pointcare and feel the results to your bottom line.
