This role will report to PointCare’s VP of Product. Product Management contributors at PointCare act as teammates, facilitators, product experts, and curators of healthcare domain expertise who guide and drive product investment decisions.

First 30 Days
During the first 30 days, you’ll focus on learning by:

  • Diving deep into our product, learning its features and its structure.
  • Learning our process and how we create value, from implementation to integration.
  • Developing and testing your knowledge of our industry and its regulations.
  • Learning our User Personas through data, customer visits, and internal discussions.

First 90 Days

Within the first 90 days, you’ll use that foundation of knowledge to:

  • Help capture and manage customer enhancement ideas to help us build stronger solutions in the future.
  • Grow customer value and increase revenues by working on specific enhancements.
  • Produce documentation that generates understanding and high value.
  • Work on making updates to our Product Roadmap.
  • Ensure that our KPIs are tracked and serve to inform our decisions.

Within 6 Months

By the time 6 months has gone by, you’ll be well on your way to:

  • Delivering data and insight to help engineers and executives make product decisions that drive our Product KPIs.
  • Implementing improvements to our process for turning ideas and issues into a living Product Roadmap.
  • Working with engineers in Agile teams to deliver Product Roadmap items.
  • Ensuring quality by working with PointCare customers to validate features.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for PointCare teammates.
  • Helping to increase the efficiency of our team’s processes.

This role will report to PointCare’s VP of Customer Success. Our Customer Success Advisors are teammates, consultants, product experts, and implementation advisors who guide our customers and sell the value that our products and services generate.

First 30 Days
During the first 30 days, you’ll focus on learning by:

  • Diving deep into our product, learning to configure it and to train others on its features.
  • Learning our process and how we create value, from implementation to integration.
  • Developing and testing your knowledge on our industry and its regulations.
  • Riding along with other CSAs for implementation and account management events.

First 90 Days

Within the first 90 days, you’ll own a growing book of business and will:

  • Manage the implementation process, ensuring rapid time to value for customers.
  • Build robust and strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Capture customer enhancement ideas and help our Product & Engineering teams build stronger solutions in the future.
  • Grow customer value and increase revenues by identifying ways to increase customer value through the product.

Within 6 Months

By the time 6 months has gone by, you’ll be well on your way to:

  • Driving 20%+ portfolio growth.
  • Generating referrals and leads to our Sales team.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to PointCare teammates.
  • Helping to increase the efficiency of our team’s processes.

Marketing Manager

We are seeking a seasoned, innovative marketing and public relations professional to drive the development and execution of PointCare’s marketing and PR strategies.

Experience working with the healthcare industry is a plus. Responsible for directly managing marketing and communications activities that will promote, enhance and protect PointCare’s brand and further its mission and vision. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of B2B marketing initiatives
  • Take over existing brand and oversee the development and implementation of support materials and services for all departments in the areas of marketing, communications, and public relations
  • Create a scalable marketing plan that streamlines growth while driving revenue and brand awareness
  • Prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, and initiate corrective actions, as necessary
  • Foster strong relationships with a variety of media in the health care and technology fields
  • Develop and manage the creation and distribution of press releases, pitches, fact sheets, testimonials, articles, and speaking abstracts
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external marketing and communications vendors
  • Conduct market research and adjust strategies to meet the changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Work with senior staff across the organization to identify internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them
  • Train other department heads on the role of marketing and communications and coordinate and orient new marketing and sales’ new hires

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive knowledge in Salesforce, Salesforce Communities, and HubSpot

FEMA Programs Added to PointCare to Support Relief Efforts

In response to the Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, PointCare has added temporary resources to our database for individuals who live in the affected counties.

If individuals are screened in these counties, they will be provided with information on FEMA resources available to them, the contact information, and everything they need to sign-up. Below is an overview of the programs we’ve added to PointCare’s coverage management platform.

FEMA Disaster Assistance (Individuals & Household Program): Provides financial and direct services to eligible individuals and households affected by disasters who have uninsured or underinsured necessary expenses and serious needs. IHP is not a substitute for insurance and cannot compensate for all losses caused by a disaster; it is intended to meet the survivor’s basic needs and supplement disaster recovery efforts

FEMA Transitional Sheltering Assistance: Provides short-term lodging assistance for evacuees who are not able to return home for an extended or indeterminate period of time following a disaster. FEMA will pay for the cost to stay in certain hotels or motels for a limited period of time. Costs covered are for the cost of the room and taxes, and any other expenses are not included.

Partnership Beyond the Clinic: Lone Star Family Health Center

PointCare checked-in our friends/customers at Lone Star Family Health Center in Conroe, Texas after the news of Hurricane Harvey. Many of the Lone Star staff members’ homes were affected by this event, needing demo and rebuilding from the ground up. After connecting with Karen Harwell, Lone Star’s CFO, the PointCare team banded together to collect donations and supplies to support the clinic’s clean-up/relief efforts. Through donations and the hard work of the Lone Star Staff coming together, they began the process to recovery during Labor Day weekend. We applaud Lone Star’s tenacity as an organization to stand strong, and together ,for their staff as well as patients. We are happy to have helped our partners in their time of need and wish them a speedy and safe rebuild in the coming months. 

Product Updates 9.5.17

Updates to User Authentication

We’ve been busy making a few changes to PointCare’s User Authentication. These subtle changes make it easier for users to gain access to PointCare. A few of the enhancements include:

  • Domain name is automatically entered from your last login
  • You no longer need to remember security questions to reset your password
  • Password reset tokens will now expire immediately after your password is successfully reset

PointCare Powers Up Public and Private Coverage for Uninsured Patients

Health systems using PointCare have qualified over 300,000 uninsured patients for coverage

August 23, 2017 — Today, PointCare announces that more than 300,000 patients have qualified for public and/or private coverage options through its coverage management platform in the past 12 months – translating to over $12 million in reimbursable revenue for its current health system customers.

By maintaining the industry’s only database of public, private and additional coverage options, PointCare gives health systems an advantage by staying critically aware of eligibility changes allowing for better qualification and enrollment rates – allowing health systems to more accurately qualify patients for coverage.

“With PointCare, we have access to information on every coverage option available, which is crucial for identifying the right coverage for our diverse patient population” said, Alex Armstrong, CEO of Alliance Medical Center.

As the American Health Care Act (AHCA) sways in the balance, many programs patients once qualified for under Obamacare will have changes that will directly impact patient eligibility and revenues to the health system.
